3 Ways To Use The Gifts God Has Given You

God is so gracious! Not only has He given us the incredible gifts of salvation, freedom, and unconditional love, but He also blesses each of us with unique gifts and talents that we can use to bless others and bring honor back to God.
God’s Word tells us:
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. - 1 Peter 4:10-11
Using the gifts God has blessed me with, I create art that blends the beauty of worship with the art of visual storytelling. I believe God has given me these gifts, so that I might help others connect with Him on a deeper level and experience His love and passion for His people. I truly believe that God blesses each of us with a unique set of skills, talents, and gifts, so that we might make His power, grace, and love known throughout the world. Today, let’s look at 3 ways you can use the unique gifts God has given you.
Serve Others
You can use your unique gifts and talents to serve others. By sharing your gifts with others, you have the unique opportunity to bring beauty, joy, and encouragement to someone else’s life. By sharing your gifts, you can also inspire and encourage others to identify and pursue their own unique gifts and talents.
Tell A Story
No one can tell your story like you can! Using the gifts God has given you, you can share your unique life story, the story of God’s love and faithfulness, and the story of how God is working in your life.
Bring Honor To God
Your gifts can be used to bring glory and honor to God. He has blessed you with unique gifts and talents for a reason. By using those gifts and sharing those talents with others, you can create something beautiful, something that reflects His perfect love and passion for His people, something that brings honor and glory to His Kingdom.
Not sure what your unique gifts are? I would encourage you to start with prayer. Through prayer you can seek guidance and understanding. You can ask God to give you clarity and discernment, and you can ask God to help you identify your unique gifts and better understand how to use them to serve His Kingdom!
