5 Paintings To Support & Honor Our Veterans

5 Paintings To Support & Honor Our Veterans

To celebrate Memorial Day, I wanted to share 5 paintings that I have created to support and honor the men and women who’ve fought courageously for our country.

Bound for Glory

Description: Oh hero, your country honors the life you’ve chosen and the sacrifices you’ve made. While we see your colors, your journey could never be fully known. The pain, the loss, the cost of all you’ve endured - all of this to serve our great country. A country that was formed to serve and protect its people, you have answered that call and embody the very heart and soul of what it is to be an American. The brothers and sisters at your right and left, together with you in the trenches, who but them could know the magnitude of what you’ve endured. You are bonded in brotherhood and bound for glory.

Brothers and Heroes

Description: Through trial and victory, heartbreak and hope, you have preserved. You have stood beside heroic men and women who have chosen a life of service and sacrifice. You have fought beside your brothers and sisters, sharing some of the most challenging and triumphant moments. You have been a shoulder to lean on, a source of encouragement, and a light in the darkness. Through it all, you have become brothers and heroes forever.

A Heroes Homecoming

Description: What have you sacrificed to serve your country? What challenges have you faced to protect this great nation? Your heroic actions have paved the way for freedom to ring from sea to shining sea. We honor your selflessness, your bravery, and your willingness to fight for our country. Thank you for your courage. Welcome home, heroes!

Fallen, Not Forgotten

Description: “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” - John 15:13

A Nation’s Mourning

Description: I completed this piece on January 20, 2021. It is appropriate as we in this great nation have seen a great travesty take place before our very eyes. But from the ashes, we will rise, America will remember Her God once more, and will once again become the beacon of hope God always intended her to be. She will be a city on a hill that cannot be hidden, a great light in the darkness. And those who treasure her, will rise to see her freedoms restored.

I hope these pieces bring you hope and encouragement, and serve as a demonstration of my deep gratitude for all the courageous men and women who have fought for our country. Thank you, Heroes!
