Prophetic Meaning
Leaving His throne, the King of all Heaven, stepped down to earth to Shepherd the lost, to bring them back into right standing with His heart. He lead them, loved them, taught them, guided them, and instructed them. Jesus made a way for all to find redemption, by becoming our perfect, Lamb, the only sacrifice that could cover the sins of all people. He stepped in, and took our punishment on Himself. On that cross, the King of all Creation, died for us that we would have the ability, the right, to be called Sons and Daughters. In an incredible act of ultimate love, the Holy God of Heaven paid the price of our redemption with His very life. He is the King, He is our Shepherd.
