The Heavens Declare the Glory of God
Today, the heavens align in a breathtaking display of divine timing with a solar eclipse, reminding us that the universe itself is God's magnificent clock, marking seasons, days, and years in a grand cosmic dance.
Genesis 1:14 tells us, "Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years."
Together with the 2017 eclipse, today's solar eclipse forms a cross sweeping across America. It's as if the heavens themselves are echoing the cross of Calvary, standing at the crossroads of human history.
This imagery is potent, representing a moment of decision, a point where paths diverge, and we are called upon to choose the direction we will take.
The crossroads is a powerful metaphor for the choices we face in our journey with God.
Will we walk the path laid out by worldly desires, or will we choose the way of the Kingdom? In these times, more than ever, it's a call to align our hearts and lives with God's divine purpose, to choose His will over our own, and to actively participate in the unfolding of His Kingdom here on Earth.
In the grand clockwork of the universe, this is a testament to God's perfect timing and intricate design. As we marvel at the beauty and precision of this solar eclipse, let it be a reminder of God's sovereignty and the peace that comes from trusting in His eternal timeline.
In moments like these, it's comforting to know that the same God who orchestrates the movements of the heavens is intimately involved in the details of our lives. His timing is flawless, His plans for us are perfect, and His presence is unwavering.
It is a call to trust in God's timing, to find rest in His plans, and to seek the divine purpose He has woven into the fabric of our lives. After all, He created a divine timepiece that guides the rhythm of life itself.
"The heavens declare the glory of God; the firmament shows His handiwork." - Psalm 19:1.
This eclipse, forming a cross across the nation, invites us to reflect on the crossroads before us. It challenges us to choose the path of faith, to lay down our lives in surrender, and to embrace the life that is truly life—the abundant life found in following Jesus.
May your heart be encouraged today, knowing that you are held in the hands of a Creator who aligns the stars and knows your every need.
P.S. In every moment of darkness, God's light is always ready to break through. Let this eclipse be a reminder of the brilliant hope that shines in Christ. Choose this day whom you will serve. Let the choice be for the Kingdom, for righteousness, and for the love that Christ has shown us through His ultimate sacrifice.

I would like to know when preparing to buy one of your portraits, what is a standard print, what kind of paper is it done on and how do you send it. I’m in Chicago.
