""This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins." - 1 John 4:10
This piece is a symbol of divine sacrifice and redemption. Christ is adorned in a striking garment of crimson, symbolizing His deep, sacrificial love for humanity. His gaze, directed downward with compassion, draws us into contemplation of the profound suffering He willingly endured out of boundless love. Let us not forget the intensity of His sacrifice—the crimson attire signifies His willingness to bear our sins, offering forgiveness and reconciliation to all who seek Him. Amidst the interplay of light and shadow, this piece speaks to the coexistence of suffering and hope in our lives. May this piece encourage introspection, prompting us to embody His love, extend His message of redemption, and find solace in His enduring love during life's trials."
""But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8
