In His final hours, the Son of God, slipped away to pray and draw near to the Father. His heart was full of anguish as He knew the hour was drawing near. The stress of His body was so intense that sweat droplets of blood seeped out of His pores. Yet, He did not waiver. Requesting that the Lord take the cup from Him, He ended His prayer with “let not my will, but your will be done.” Jesus laid it all down, He is the Faithful Son of God. Looking at this piece, I am reminded of all He endured for us. His love is so deep, so wide, so wonderful. Let nothing come between you and Him. This here…is your best friend, your Savior and your King.
