CHARLIE KIRK - A HERO’S TRIBUTE

I painted this painting of our brother in Christ, Charlie Kirk. I did not paint a man who is dead; no, I painted a man who is more alive than he has ever been before. Before the Throne of the Living God, our dear Charlie is whole, complete, and given a crown for the sacrifice he made. And I know he is watching down on all of us, still cheering us on.

By the young  age of 31, he pushed himself past the limits of what most believe is even possible for one man to accomplish. And he did so with passion, conviction, and purpose. His faith in God was what  gave him strength each day to get up and run the race set before him. He lived a bold and courageous life of love and honor before the Lord, leading many into the light.

His shoes walked a path of intense and divine destiny. All the while, he encouraged the people of God  to do the same.

Many have said, “He has big shoes to fill.” But men like Charlie…they do not teach us how to fill their shoes, instead, they teach us the power of what can happen when we fill our own shoes. What is God calling you to do in this life? Whatever it is, may you walk it out with the same passion and wholehearted commitment as Charlie did.

I pray that his legacy will echo through the ages, reaching the hardest of hearts, drawing people back to their Father, and inspiring us to live as Christ did, in total surrender to the One who gives us life.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” -Colossians 3:23-24
