A powerful reminder of the cost of greatness in the Kingdom. His crown on earth was not made of gold, and adorned in rubies, but was instead made of branches, riddled with thorns which dug into His skull. Do not seek that your reward be here on this earth, that honor will come from this world. This world will hate you as it hated our Jesus, but for those who endure to the end, the Father will reward according to their lives and their heart. Humility is the gold standard. To be a living sacrifice, that is the honorable way to walk out each day before Him. Do not seek to be elevated on earth, but seek to elevate the one who wore that Crown on the day of our deliverance. He is the only one worthy of our praise.
