This photo was chosen to send to my friend who has been diagnosed with stomach cancer. She is a Christian woman who loves the Lord very much. When she told me about the diagnosis, I felt led by the Holy Spirit to commit to praying for her every day. I lay hands on her photograph and speak healing words over her body every night and then I send her a scripture, prayer, inspirational words, etc. to encourage her and let her know I am keeping my commitment to pray for her healing. When I saw the photo of the woman dancing in her Heavenly Father’s hands, I felt it would be something my friend could visually look at every day and knew that she was being carried and kept in her Heavenly Father’s everlasting arms. All of your photos and paintings are so moving. I appreciate your stand for God and I know you will be blessed in all you do.
I purchased this piece for a friend who has been diagnosed with stomach cancer and is having to go through chemo treatments and all the horrible symptoms involved in that. Her theme while she is on this journey is “Carried and Kept”. When I saw this piece, I felt it would be a wonderful visual for her to always be reminded that she is held in the everlasting arms of our Lord and Savior. I heard a sermon once where a lady spoke of crawling onto God's lap. It affected me deeply. This had a similar effect. I would love to dance for my Father, in happiness at finally being "home."

I was performing on a Broadway tour when covid shut down the show and the entire industry with no promise to return. I was so depressed and was led to find a new path. God has restored my life abundantly, but I haven’t (yet) made it back to the stage. I’m now a voice teacher, but I miss performing on stage. When I first saw this painting, tears came to my eyes. This painting looks like me dancing in God’s hands and reminds me of who I am and how God sees me. I’m grateful for the opportunities I had which have brought me through to where I am now. I never want to forget who I am in God who holds me in his hands.
