The canvas is hand-embellished by Vanessa Horabuena herself using the highest of quality, richly pigmented acrylic paints. A specialized texture medium is added to enhance depth, creating dimensional highlights that catch light and bring areas of the painting to life. Vanessa’s original signature is applied directly to the canvas, replacing the printed one for an authentic finish.

Each piece is printed in-house using 12 archival pigment inks, then carefully hand-stretched onto custom, high-end 1 1/2" gallery depth poplar wood bars… crafted and assembled right here in our Tempe, Arizona studio. To protect and preserve the work, each embellished canvas is sealed with a professional-grade UV-protectant varnish, applied by a trained technician. This final touch ensures lasting brilliance and protection from fading, dust, and humidity. 

The finished piece is a one of a kind with a resemblance to an original painting. The product will be shipped out with a certificate of authenticity. 

Prophetic Meaning

In the stillness of Gethsemane's garden, amidst the olive trees under the moonlit sky, Jesus encountered the ultimate test of faith and obedience. As He prayed, the weight of the world's sins bore down upon Him. With the shadow of betrayal looming and the cross awaiting, He offered a prayer that resonates through time:

"Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me...yet, not my will, but your will be done." In His agony, Jesus sweat blood, a physical manifestation of His profound anguish and the intensity of His prayer. This was the beginning of the end for the curse placed upon humanity. With each drop that touched the soil of the garden, the process of reversing the curse that began with Adam and Eve in Eden was set into motion.

This moment was not one of defeat but a declaration of victory. Jesus, fully aware of the pain ahead, chose to submit to the Father's will, setting the stage for our redemption. His prayer in Gethsemane was a powerful act of obedience and love, a punch to the enemy's schemes, and a testament to His unwavering faithfulness.

This piece is a reminder of the strength found in surrender. Jesus knows our struggles, hears our prayers, and empowers us to echo His words: "Not my will, but Your Will be done." He laid down everything for us, offering us the chance to lay ours down for Him in return.
