In the Lion’s Den
Prophetic Meaning
There are moments in life when obedience leads us straight into places that look impossible... places that feel like dens of darkness, pressure, and uncertainty. The Lion's Den was painted from that very place in my spirit. It's a reminder that the God who shut the mouths of the lions for Daniel is the same faithful God who stands with us today.
As I worked on this piece, I felt the Lord whisper, "I am with you in the depths. I am your defender. I am your peace when the world surrounds you." The lion in this painting represents both the threat of the enemy and the majesty of the God who rules over every threat. Even in the darkest den, His light breaks through. His presence silences fear. His sovereignty steadies our trembling hearts.
My prayer is that when you look at this piece, you're reminded that faith is not found in avoiding the den.. faith is found in trusting the One who walks into it with you. May this artwork strengthen your spirit, anchor your courage, and remind you that no matter what stands against you, your God is greater.

We employ the same 12 pigmented inks as our paper prints, and then skillfully stretch the artwork onto 1 1/2" gallery depth bars. This results in a contemporary appearance that is ideal for displaying unframed. Our canvas prints are also made to order in our Tempe, Arizona studio, using high-quality, locally sourced poplar wood for the stretcher bars which are cut and assembled in-house by our own team.
