Prophetic Meaning
It is common among abuse survivors, especially pertaining to those who have gone through childhood abuse, that nearness to the Lord can be difficult. For me, it had the opposite effect. In fact, the safest place for me to be is in the presence of the Lord.
His intentions are always good and are never to harm those in His care. He didn’t create us to be abused but created us with the ability to cope so that we could survive if we needed to. The enemy, however, after causing such harm, such pain, and such destruction, tries to deceive hearts that have been wounded into believing that the Lord allowed harm. He attempts to push the blame on God who is Holy! When it is the enemy who is evil, who is deceptive, and who is cruel. I am thankful that from a young age, the Lord's kindness was made known to me. Before my innocence was lost, I remember as a child, eagerly waiting to pray. Loving to meet the Lord with the words of my lips, and the whole of my heart. I knew…that He was good…that He was kind…and that there could be no other like Him.
Some reading this right now, may be on the other side of knowing. On the side of still feeling walled up…I want you to know that the Lord loves you, He is safe, in fact, He is the safest place you could ever find yourself. Your heart is always securely held in the palm of His hands. I pray that this blesses you and sets your heart free to know the true love of the Father. Even if it’s just the first steps of cracking the door of your heart. If you taste, you will see that He is good. He will bring healing where the enemy brought so much destruction. He will bring wholeness and purpose, and in the areas where the enemy stole, the Lord will give you back more beauty, fulfillment, and life than you could have ever imagined. May God bless you and keep you always. 🤍

We employ the same 12 pigmented inks as our paper prints, and then skillfully stretch the artwork onto 1 1/2" gallery depth bars. This results in a contemporary appearance that is ideal for displaying unframed. Our canvas prints are also made to order in our Tempe, Arizona studio, using high-quality, locally sourced poplar wood for the stretcher bars which are cut and assembled in-house by our own team.
Hand-Embellished Canvas: Each piece is personally hand-embellished by Vanessa Horabuena, making every artwork truly one of a kind. Please allow up to 2 months for completion, as each canvas receives detailed handwork, prayer, and artistic attention.
Printed in-house with 12 archival pigment inks, each canvas is hand-stretched onto premium 1.5" gallery-depth poplar wood bars in our Tempe, Arizona studio. Vanessa enhances the artwork with richly pigmented acrylic paints, textured highlights, and her original hand-applied signature. A professional UV-protective varnish is then applied to preserve the piece for years to come.

I gave this to my mom for Mother's Day. My daughter passed away almost two years ago at the age of 23. She had an incurable brain cancer (glioblastoma). I bought a painting like this one for myself (the girl was on the other side of the lion though). It reminds me of my daughter in heaven with God. I wanted to give my mom one like it for her to remember her granddaughter and know where she is now.
I wasn't sure what to expect but was overwhelmed by the picture. I feel God in it and it radiates the spirit of God. I am so blessed to be able to have it hanging in my living room. My first but not my last for sure...
