Our Country was founded on the unadulterated principals of freedom. The precious idea of America broke the mold of the empires and kingdoms of its day…creating a government that at its core, was set in place to protect the freedoms and the will of the people. Stripping and limiting power of the political realm and flipping the script where the leading came from the ground up. The people would decide, and the leaders would be subject to the people to whom they represent. While America has has many obstacles, she has overcome them. Growing leaps and bounds and making wrongs right.
The founding fathers lead the way, not one being perfect but each dedicated in heart to commit to do what is best to preserve the will of the people. Here we are now, in some of the darkest days in our countries history. And as we turn our hearts to the Lord, we also honor the leaders He has set apart. Those who have paved a way, and who also continue to fight and pave a way just as the founding fathers have. Today we live in a time when the people have been asleep for too long. We live in a time when the efforts of the elite and powerful, over generations have broke down our constitutional rights, and have eroded the freedoms of a great and free people.
But we also live in a time when we are waking up… God’s people are waking up. And the Lord, who has loved the heart of this Nation, has given to His people a leader who would fight for them. I hope this piece reminds you of the times we are in, and encourage your heart, to fight for the freedom that has been given to you. To pray for our nation and to pray for our President. May your heart be full of boldness and courage as you go forth. For the Lord our God is always with us.
