“I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten— the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm— my great army that I sent among you. You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, and you will praise the name of the Lord your God, who has worked wonders for you; never again will my people be shamed. Then you will know that I am in Israel, that I am the Lord your God, and that there is no other; never again will my people be shamed.”
How many of us have forgotten the freedom of dancing in this life? We started off with such innocence and hope, but as quickly as the spark was lit, the storms of life struck us to the ground.
I’m so thankful for the goodness of God. For it is His kindness and His gentleness that restores us to a place of dancing. He sets our feet on solid ground, and He leads us to greener pastures. He restores our hearts and refreshes our souls. He shines His face upon us with delight in whom He created us to be.
This is the goodness of God, and it is the reason we can dare to dance…
